"Nice little neighborhood Italian family-owned restaurant. The owners get to know their customers and the staff are all very kind, accommodating to your needs, and very efficient in terms of timing, water, drinks, appetizer, entree, and dessert. Improvements that would help them up their game would be to serve real Italian crusty bread. The bread we were served was something just purchased over at a local grocery store - it seemed like a plain sliced rye bread that had no rye seeds or flavor. Very disappointing for an Italian restaurant. As for the house wine, it should be tasted before serving it to your customers - the glass of Chianti I ordered was undrinkable and I had to send it back. An easy way is to write on the bottle’s label the date the bottle was opened, and depending on how it was stored, it probably shouldn’t be served after 5 - 7 days once it’s been opened. To the server’s credit, she opened a new bottle and offered me a glass. I ordered the seafood crepe for my entree and it was cooked a little too long. The crepe texture had changed, the ends of the crepe were hard, and the inside of the crepe was so hot, I burned the inside of my mouth. I would go back as I think family-owned independent restaurants should be supported and if they want to improve, they will read reviews, except for those reviewers who are never happy, with a mindset that we want them to succeed and flourish."

"Small family owned restaurants like this don't exist anymore! You need to try this place out if your into great Italian food with a cute ambiance and friendly staff. Had the butternut squash ravioli and a glass of wine with was great."

"Giovanni and his team are phenomenal. Their food, service and overall presentation are more than exceptional. They go out of their way to make sure your meal is enjoyable and are always attentive. We have been to their restaurant many times, but recently took them on as our caterer for our wedding. Their food, timeliness and guest interactions were more than we expected and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We are definitely life long customers and highly recommended Bistro 13 to anyone looking for amazing food, in a beautiful atmosphere with great service. "Apparently this local Italian diamond has been around for a couple of years (53 between this and prior locations) and it shows! Giovanni and his staff are amazing and the food is there to match. I jumped right in to the food when it got to me so no pics. But the bar is awesome and the coffee is great. Worth the time to check out if you haven’t been and the return trip if you have."

"Wonderful restaurant Food was delicious. The wine list very good too. House-made bread and really high quality butter. We had an appetizer (meatballs), two main courses (gnocchi and Australian barramundi), and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was great. I can see why this place has been here for 20 years - it is awesome and very much loved by the locals. Megan (hostess/server) was great. We got to meet with and talk to Giovanni, the owner. Loved it all here. Wished we lived closer! I'd be a regular ❤"
