"I stumbled upon Ben's Books while exploring Taft and I'm so glad I stopped in. He has a wonderful collection and even had books on the geology of the local area. Ben was so sweet and amazing to chat with. I highly recommend to all bookworms who may be put off by the drive. It was well worth it."

"The owner of Ben's Books is so sweet. When I entered the store he greeted me and explained how the pricing worked and informed me how many rooms (3) full of books there were and if I had any questions to feel free to ask. I spent a good amount of time just browsing and I didn't feel rushed like I do in some stores. There are so many books to choose from. The books are sorted in a certain way in each room and are labeled with the genre and/or the first letter of the authors name depending on which section of books you are looking at. There are literally books everywhere in the store with some very nice looking classics in the front room. I would come back to town just to go browsing his shop again."

"This place is a little gem in the middle of nowhere! four kids and I spent a good hour pursuing the books and picking some out. The owner, Ben, is so wonderful. I highly recommend taking a detour in Your travels to stop here and pick up some used books to get yourself (if you're not driving) and the kiddos something to read in the car. Nothing better than a new book to occupy you amd Ben's books is worth a stop."
