"Very different from the regular "indian food" you get in a standard restaurant in USA. Nice variations. The good was good in , I personally didn't like the spring rolls too much. Everything else was pretty good. The service was fantastic. This is probably the second indian restaurant where the service has really impressed me. (The other being adi's darbar/tandoor) Overall, our experience was better than start at had expected based on feedback from some friends."
"A very crowded place with very good food in a very vibrabt location. The service was good till a large party showed up and everyone from staff got so engrossed in serving them that other tables were un attended We got our food, but it took a few reminders after that to get us the plates to eat. Anyhow growing up in India watching Chef Sanjeev Kapoor on TV, I could not have missed eating at The Yellow Chili Masala papad was a good appetizer, tangy topping on crispy roasted papad. Adraki Paneer was amazingly good, since almost every Indian restaurent in the US feel obligated to add orange color and cream in any Paneer Dish, so havibg Paneer with none of those two was great. The sauce was mostly bhuna Onion and ginger with corriender powder ( will not even attempt to guess other spices) and it was all very well balanced. My friend ordered chicken tikka makahnwala and was very happy with the dish. Butter Nan and Garlic Nan both were soft and delicious. Lachcha parantha was extremely good as well. I would rate this a full 5 Stars if they had given us plates when food was served."
"Honestly the food tasted too tangy. We ordered three different curries and all three were very tangy. The appetizers were good though. Their appetizer and naan platter is also a good deal if you go in a big group. We tried their mocktails and they were delicious. The ambience and service is really good. The staff was super helpful and courteous They are well informed of the dishes on the menu and guided us on the options. Will definitely give them another chance. Edit: the food quality has improved significantly since our last visit which was a few months ago. Loved the experience."
"The chicken kebab appetizers were really good. Can't go wrong with masala papad either. Every dish we ordered was good which is not very common at most restaurants. We'll be back whenever we are in the area next time!"
