"High quality omakase with the perfect rice. The rice has a good amount of vinegar and is chewy and warm. The fish flies in from Japan! The hot food appetizers were unique. Nice warm flavorful fish soup, fried mushroom, Uni oyster shooter with ikura eggs, Hamachi shooter and fresh uni mini don. Finished off with the next yuzu ice/sorbet and perfect flavoring in the pannacotta. Such a wonderful meal with excellent service."

"Amazing dinner with my family. Prepare by Chef Julio Zapata Cant say enough about the qaulity and freshness of the fish. The customer service was also top notch. Food service was a slow burn of delectable bites. Nothing typical or basic about anything here. Exceptional and diverse cuts of tasty fish. "This is a casual spot that seems quite popular with locals and special occasion folks. I can in with a friend as we wanted a place that shipped fish in from Japan and this fit the bill. We had a reservation which I would recommend as without one you might be out of luck. The food was delicious! I ordered from the special sushi menu and ate mostly fish from Japan. My friend had rolls and we shared a few appetizers Hamachi collar and edamame. Everything was great but I do have two critiques. I don’t know why they did this but my sushi came out first, nothing for my friend. Then one roll, followed by the edamame and then more sushi. The hamachi collar was the last thing to come out but it was meant to be an appetizer. I suppose a little heads up might have been good but in the scheme of things it wasn’t a big deal. The only other issue is the lighting. It’s really bright in there, like floodlights. Not sure if there isn’t a dimmer switch anywhere in the restaurant but they need one. That said the fish is good so it’s kinda forgivable but if they fixed the ambiance and paced the food in a logical order they would be on point. That said, the place was packed so, maybe no one cares but me."
