"Asked for over medium eggs and got over easy eggs, the pancakes were dry even with a lot of butter and syrup. The bacon was not thick cut as advertised. The Pigs in a Car (pancake wrapped sausage) fell apart easy. Overall, the food was overpriced and not good. I went to a different location several years ago and the food was delicious, but this location is awful."

"We always enjoy this restaurant, but the last time we visited it was an exceptional experience. We were there just after opening. Coffee was very good. The waitress was so friendly and professional, and she recommended the 3 Benedict sampler. Yummy! My boyfriend and I shared it. It was enough for two, and DELICIOUS!! Especially the portobello mushroom bacon one! We would never have selected this. Glad we took her suggestion. Looking forward to our return!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast experience at this restaurant. Although there was a brief delay in being acknowledged at the counter, the overall breakfast experience was delightful. The Baked German Apple Pancake was a unique treat, both in terms of taste and presentation, and it was deliciously sweet on its own, eliminating the need for additional syrup. The Ultimate Egg Benedicts offered three variations, each with its own delightful twist. Among them, the one with mushroom, meat, and spinach stood out as particularly delicious and satisfying. Despite the initial delay, the overall service was good."

"Superbowl Sunday proved to be a great day to visit. No line at 10am! Got seated quickly and service was great. Food was so good! We all got totally different items and no one had any complaints. Will definitely be back."

"This is a super popular spot for breakfast and a few brunch/lunch items. Limited hours. Dog Friendly Patio. Heated outdoor patio and indoor seating. We have been waiting to try it since we moved to Carlsbad. We went on a Thursday around 11 am. We were seated outside immediately (with my two dogs in a stroller). The menu is large, but since they are known for their German pancakes, we got one to share and decided we also needed bacon and coffee. We got the Pecan German Pancake. It was large enough for 2-3, or perhaps 4 people. It was very good, although it appeared to be a bit overdone (burnt). It also has a ton of cinnamon- so if that's not your vibe, choose differently. The bacon was thick and soft (not crispy). We like it like that, so again, if you want it crispy, you might have to specify. The coffee was 10/10. The service was also very good; friendly & attentive, our coffee stayed full. The scene isn't much to look at. It is in a shopping plaza."
