"There are a lot of items on the shelves without a price and prices not well marked and when I asked for help people/employees in the store weren’t willing to help either, the girl there claimed she could not tell me a price because she didn’t have a scanner. I was going to return some of the items I had just purchased because prices were too high for being at a 99 store but it was such a hassle that I decided to just count my losses and move on. What ashamed."
"Staff is great. The customers are ok. There was a couple kids buying or slinging drugs 20 yards from the front entrance. Idk what else to say. This neighborhood used to be pretty decent. It’s maybe the least desirable parking lot in the city. I appreciate the feedback from management as it’s something that I think can be fixed."
"Absolutely best prices on mushrooms. Sometimes they even have them in 24 oz tubs. Ah... fungus love!"
"This is a very dirty, messy store. The selection is really good, but their products are scattered all over the place. I had trouble finding the pricing for many different items that I bought since I found them in places other than where they belong (items no longer simply cost $.99). Plus, one of the brain surgeons working the cash register doesn't know how to wear a mask (my original review was when Covid-19 protocols were in effect everywhere). My checker was great, but the other one was clearly not all there. Update: Ice cooler was broken on last visit."
"Besides the fact that probably less than half of the items are actually less than $.99, I love this store to find quick every day needs like food items, picnic stuff, seasonal home decor, etc. Yes I like this store, however I do not like this location. Reasons as follows: 1:You will always have someone asking for money. 2: I am sure The bathrooms are a location where horror films are recorded at. They are smelly, filthy, have flickering lights, no towels or toilet paper. 3: If you run in for something quick, expect to be stuck in line longer than your stay. Seems they have a rule against having more than 3 isles open at once OR they are severely understaffed. 4: Again, probably less than 1/2 the store's items are actually $.99 (but that goes for ALL $.99 stores now)"
