"5 stars across all areas. Great place to take a date and share a few dishes. The food is great. The business in New definitely will be coming back to sample more of the menu. I tried the mixed seafood curry. The menu describes tomatoes and onion gravy, and that's exactly what I received minus what you would expect from a gravy. The creaminess of a gravy is missing. It's definitely far from soup like in consistency. It is thick like a gravy. The seafood was cooked beautifully. Wasn't overdone at all. The shrimp and calamari were tender and easy to manage. Rice is sold separately from dishes, so you can't forget that the serving is a large single serving of rice. You can get away with splitting a serving of rice. The dishes are served in a way that it encourages sharing. Naan is well proportioned, aka big portions. The proportion of other dishes is fair. The atmosphere is great. The server is attentive and excited to be there. It was pleasant to be genuinely checked on. I did have a chance to have a conversation with my server, who may be an owner, due to overall general care. When he stopped to check in and ask about experience, you can tell he's listening. There's so much more I want to try here. Also this is a great place to take a date. There are even a couple for two options that are already picked out and include dessert. Plus, it's not going to break the bank. Atmosphere is worth it."
"A lighter take on more commonly encountered Punjabi-style Indian, curries here are big on spice, and less on dairy and ghee. With more of a Himalayan influence in menu, gravies have a refreshing quality while textures of tomato and onion are still felt. Chili Chicken Momo, an absolute treat and perfect for sharing: crispy fried chicken dumplings tossed in spicy sauce with sautéed bell peppers and onions. Lamb Vindaloo, tasty, but not classic. With acidity coming more from tomatoes than vinegar, an interesting variation. Reasonably priced, casual, and young, an excellent place to catch up with friends. Quick and attentive service."
"I don't know how I haven't been here before. I thought it was almost a scam because of how few reviews it has (I realize this review also plays into that). Mark my words, this place is gonna be huge in a year. Get in on it while you can. Some of the best Indian food on the city, insanely good prices, very close to me. Portions are super generous and staff is very helpful. No notes, super impressed"
"Nopa Indian Cuisine was excellent! I had a vegan dish and naan and they were absolutely delicious. They are new to our hood and we are looking forward to ordering out and dining here. Highly recommend!"
"Nopa/Diviz did not have a good Indian restaurant so we had to drive to somewhere else for that. Well, that might have changed. We were walking on Diviz for a place to eat and we saw the ‘new owner’ sign on the door and went in to give them a try. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The place was clean, inviting and comfortable. The menu had a wide variety of selections. There were a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. We ordered the ‘Himalayan Dinner for 2’ from the menu. Papads with 3 different types of chatni and a yogurt sauce came. Somosas were served right after. It was very fresh and had a lot of flavor. Then came the main dishes: Tandoori chicken, lamb kebab, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala and a large naan. We were pleasantly surprised how many different dishes we got just for $49. This might be the best deal in town. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the naan might have been the best I’ve ever had. The presentation was amazing. It was crispy, delicious and soaked in ghee. I’m already craving that naan and might go there again just for the naan. They were nice enough to serve us with warm gulab jamun (fried dough ball in syrup) on the house and it was lovely. Overall, the food, the value, the service - everything was five star! This place is very spacious and a huge sitting area compared to any restaurant in the city. You can even bring in a big group. This restaurant will definitely be added to our rotation. Can’t wait to go there again!"
