"I’m really happy with the improvements they made to my desktop,. It was running so slow that it was virtually unusable. They suggested changing the five year old disk hard drive to a solid state one. They cloned the old drive and downloaded that to the new drive. They consulted me before proceeding and gave me a firm quote. It was finished the next day and it is running so fast. Just like when it was brand new."

He was so helpful and attentive during my visit to the store regarding my HP Envy laptop computer that was disassembled by Computer World in Fremont with the wrong CD case and unscrewed carriage. He assisted me with seeing exactly what was wrong with the broken hinge and put the drive back in secured with plenty of electrical tape. I wish I had come here first instead of getting disrespected at Computer World. Now I have use of my computer and feel good about my computer repair. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. And the store is well maintained. I recently bought a RTX 4090 here, and the price could not be beat. My next build will definitely come from this place."

"Central Computers, Newark CA location is great when you need electronic, pc components, and network equipment in a pinch. Their prices are fair, not as compelling as online, but not egregious except for during chip shortages when they gouge their customer's on GPUs. I mean brutally over-inflated prices. Staff are generally very helpful and do their best to pair you with the equipment you need. But overall, if you need gear same day and folks who do seem to want to help you get what you need, I recommend the Newark location."
