"Ate there Thursday for a retirement dinner for a Stanford colleague. Firt time there -the service, food & ambiance were all great! Started with ahi tuna canapes on tortilla chips, & beef skewers & fresh Vietnamese rolls, than a lovely salad with edible flowers. My entre was a great king salmon, perfectly cooked, topped with fried onions in a tangle, and served with great sauteed spinach with currents & cranberries. Only shot I got was this fabulous dessert!"

"Ordered an "autumn" bean toast which literally seemed to have kidney beans from a can on it. Our waiter was non existent and lights went on at 9pm with passive aggressive gestures it was time for us (and the other tables still enjoying a night out) to leave. In their defense, this seems to be the norm...I'm finding very few restaurants worth the price tag lately on the Peninsula."

"My partner and I did not feel overly welcomed in the space, while it seemed that other customers were attended to really well. We had to wait an inappropriate amount of time (almost 30 min) before we were even acknowledged by the wait staff after being seated. It took us asking 4 people (truly) before water even came to the table, whereas the couple sitting next to us received their water immediately. The tables near us also had their servers checking in on them frequently, whereas we only received interactions when our food was being delivered. We also asked for the check twice before it finally came, whereas our same server asked the couple next to us if they wanted their check and brought it out , immediately. We sat down well before that table (almost 30 min) and they received their drinks before us. As far as the food goes, I ordered the burger medium-rare, and it was tasty. My partner ordered a Hot Toddy and it was lukewarm and unpleasant. His lobster roll also had shell fragments and the dish as a whole lacked a lot of flavor (it was overpriced for the quality of the dish). The dessert was fine. Overall, the atmosphere was pretty, however we will not be back. We did not like the feeling that we were potentially being treated differently or forgotten about."

"Decided on this spot mainly because the cocktail menu was superior to everything else in the nearby area. For food, I opted for the lobster roll with fries. It was filling and prepared perfectly. For the drinks, well worth a visit if you’re looking for a spot with a knack for making high-quality cocktails with silly silicon valley themed names. The first cocktail I went for was the Hostile Takeover, which is a mezcal drink with lime and agave. It is #1. I recommend everyone who loves a bit of smoke/spice to give this a try. The second cocktail I had was the Holiday Pay, which was a tequila based drink with grapefruit and hibiscus. I think it was not my favorite, but I think after a filling meal, the hibiscus cocktail was the right choice. Will definitely come back next time I’m in the area"

"This upscale restaurant used to be an old bank (hence the name) it has vaulted ceiling’s, cute decor, good background music, and a fun outdoor patio area. The food and cocktails are always delicious! The staff are kind and attentive! I ordered the zero balance for libation and the brisket for my entree! It’s always so lovely to come here! Parking lot is underground and next door."
