About the Business
Baba's Kitchen Mediterranean is a cozy restaurant located at 2110 Newbury Road in Thousand Oaks, California. We offer a variety of Mediterranean dishes, from flatbreads to hummus and stuffed grape leaves. Our menu includes a range of salads, including Tabbouleh, Horiatiki, Shawarma, Falafel, and our signature Baba salad.
Our house specialties include creamy curry dishes with your choice of chicken, lamb, veggie, or shrimp, served with rice, vegetables, and salad. We also offer tender grilled skewers with marinated meat, as well as hand-made pita bread filled with meat or veggies and topped with tahina sauce.
Join us for a casual dining experience at Ali Baba's Kitchen, whether for lunch or dinner. We have indoor seating and also offer pickup orders. Our restaurant hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 8 PM.

It was the best thing I’ve ever eaten. The servers were also very kind and the service was very good! The atmosphere is also very nice and peaceful and overall being here was the best experience I have been had at a restaurant before!"

"Excellent food! I love the all the shawarma here, especially salmon and chicken. Terrific lentil soup. Best hummus I've ever had from any restaurant. Even the side salad and vegetables are on point. One of the few places without alcohol that I go out of my way for, lol. Bottom line: as long as you have functional taste buds, you'll be glad you went! Update Feb 2023 - still delicious. Had the chicken shawarma salad. Could only eat half! Generous portions. My lunch companion had the lamb skewer plate. They're wonderful. She took half fine, too!"
