Goose Port Public House

"Just walking down the street and came across this place, it was pretty crowded so we decided to stop and have a drink. Asked the host if we could sit outside and she said it was open seating and she would have somebody bring menus shortly. After about 15 mins a server came out to check on his table and asked if we had been helped and we told him no, he went and got somebody else who brought us menus and was very friendly. We ordered a hazy IPA, espresso martini, and nachos. The nachos looked nothing like the picture and a huge disappointment, topping were minimal and the chips looked like the bottom of the bag. We were told the nacho plate was hot and to be careful, if you’ve ever worked in the restaurant industry you know those plates don’t get hot unless they were under the warmer lights wayy too long so needless to say we won’t order those again. The espresso martini didn’t taste like ones I have had from other places but maybe it was just not for me. I didn’t finish it so it feels like a waste of $19. We probably won’t be back but they were busy so maybe it was just what we ordered??"

"Came here for date night over the weekend. Service was great, ordered nachos and husband ordered a hamburger. Nachos were good. I have had better but it was still good, and fresh. Food seemed fresh and flavorful. Came here for the second time today and ordered tacos and ceviche. Ceviche was fresh, shrimp was big, and overall tasted great. The chips there is also homemade so that was a plus since I am a chip snob. Tacos were sooo good!. I loved the presentation of the plate, meat was tasty, rice was good and tasted authentic. My husbands burger was juicy with the perfect amount of flavor. Chefs kiss! Will definitely be coming back!"

"I honestly don't understand the hype. The classic burger was okay, and the fries were unseasoned. Maybe I should've ordered something else? The drinks and ranch were good, at least. The service was pretty good. The staff were chill and friendly. I like that there's seating inside and outside. There's a couple of seats at the bar, too. There's plenty of TVs for sports fans. They had all the football games on that I was interested in. The music and chatter were at a reasonable volume. I'll give them another try and update my review then."

"Pleasant dinner experience. A little loud inside with all the TVs on. We sat outside and the patio was great. People in our party ordered a Taco platter, fish and chips, a chicken sandwich, and a lettuce-wrapped cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their food. Excellent service."

"Goose Port was a great place to grab some standard pub fare. A good selection of food and drink is available at reasonable cost ($15-20 entrées.) We got the fried and grilled chicken sandwiches and the were both very tasty. The topper were the tots that were cooked to perfection with a crispy outside and a soft, chewy inside. The service was just a bit slow on a crowded Saturday night and the inside is a bit loud."
