Jack in the Box

"Not sure what is happening at this location lately, but I've had 3 negative experiences in a row at drive up. About two months ago it took about 15 minutes to order and get food even though there were only two cars ahead of me. Then about a month ago I drove up and there was one car ahead of me that had already ordered. I waited about 5 minutes to have my order taken and then even though there was no one else ahead of me, it took about 10 minutes to get my food. Then last week I started to order tacos and the person immediately cut in and said 'we have no tacos.' It was not done in a friendly way and there was no 'sorry' or similar. So I ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal and she immediately asked if I wanted curly fries. I said, "no, regular fries." She repeats back to me, "number 4 with curly fries and onion rings." I said no, and repeated I wanted regular fries. When I got to window, to she said, "Sourdough Jack with curly fries and onions rings." I repeated my order, she got an annoyed look and said to another staff person, "he wants a number 4 with regular fries." I've been going to this location for over 8 years, around once every 2-3 weeks. Considering these three consecutive interactions, I don't know if I can trust that I can go there and quickly get food to take back to work."

"The food here was really good but the pricing has increased significantly and the portion size has gotten smaller. The employees here are absolutely amazing. They were out of teriyaki sauce, and the lady went above and beyond by giving me a drink cup filled with some sauce to make up for them, not having packets since they were out she definitely deserves a raise for going above and beyond. Due to this experience, this is what makes people like establishments like this besides the pricing, however, these fast food chains are getting ridiculously expensive, and I was shocked that the chicken teriyaki bowl size has significantly shrunk since I’ve last been here!"

"This jack n box in down town Davis doesn't have the breakfast menu at night or two tacos or milkshakes .. pretty much everything I asked for from the menu they didn't have.. when I did finally order something they did have, a jumbo jack with cheese...they got my order wrong, they forgot my cheese and yes they charged me for it and i don't discover it until I'm all the way home, so I call them and I can't get thru on the phone..... That's what I get for being lazy and buying fast food when I have food I can make at home."

"I've always enjoyed the food from Jack-In-the-Box, and this location has maintained my appreciation thereof. The 2 -observed- employees appeared haggard, attempting between them to accomplish the duties/tasks of 4 positions. If additional staff were present, they were out of sight, and NOT assisting the 2 struggling employees in front. The atmosphere... was sleepy, as though drained of energy, just short of being "off-putting", yet without being inviting to a "dine-in" customer."

"I'm not sure why this place says 24hr open when it isn't. I understand if the holidays affect the opening and closing but it still continues to be listed as 24hrs. It doesn’t help when you're able to order on the app while the store is closed. I'm unable to get a refund."
