"Friendly staff, but they have NO IDEA what they're doing. Or maybe the brand doesn't. I was seriously disappointed. Since when have Wal-Mart and Target been "high-end" brands!?! (I saw multiple examples of both, with a ridiculous markup over the actual selling price at those retailers). I brought in some really collectible brands -- Coach, Joules, Lululemon etc. -- just to test the waters. Won't do THAT again!! Trust me: You'll be FAR better off selling your high-end items on eBay and other resale sites. You will get FAR more than you'll get here. I won't be going back."

"Weird interaction with staff. They told me the previous time not to use garbage bags. I used a plastic container to bring clothes this time. They said they couldn’t donate my items without also keeping my container. They were putting everyone else’s items in their own black bins so not sure why they insisted on that. I asked them if they could just use their own bin and they said no. In order to keep my container I had to donate the clothes myself somewhere else. Just seems like a lot of inconvenience. So I guess if you want to donate your clothes, bring them in a garbage bag despite them telling you not to."

"Very organized clean store, really good brands we love, most of the used items are in new condition & they offer sweet promotions all the time. Got 2 pair sneakers, 1 pair flats, 2 hats, 1 sweater, 1 utility bag & 2 puffer jackets for $130 bucks, could have easily been over $400 at the mall. This is the most economical way to shop & still get the good stuff we want."

"I’ve been visiting Uptown frequently for the last 6 months and have had such great luck! Name brands every time (Lulu, Nike, Anthropologie, Free People, etc.) and reasonably priced. This past time I met an employee named Pierre who was SO helpful and kind as I frantically searched for an item before they closed. Super appreciative of their kind employees! Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!"
