The Cheesecake Factory

"My wife and I had a delicious lunch today at Cheesecake Factory. Had a bowl of soup with a caesar salad and half of a turkey sandwich. They also serve you the best bread and butter. The sourdough is really good, but the brown bread is out of this world. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. And of course they have 50 different kinds of Cheesecake to choose from."

"Worst experience ever at a Cheesecake Factory by far! Things started off okay when we came in this evening. However, when our server went on break, while we were waiting for our food, everything went downhill pretty quick. We decided to just have appetizers this evening so that we could save some room for cheesecake. We ordered calamari, which came out pretty quick and was actually pretty delicious. Except for the fact that we asked for a side of ranch and it took 20 minutes. We then ordered three more appetizers. Chicken lettuce wrap, crab dip, and some kind of burger in a rice wrapper. Our appetizers literally did not come out to our table until 40 minutes later. We actually had to go talk to the server to figure out what took so long for lettuce wraps. They said the bread oven was broken but last I checked lettuce doesn't need a bread oven. When they finally brought out the appetizers it was clear that the crab dip had set in the warmer for a long time. The chicken for this lettuce wraps was burnt. We tried to eat them anyways but all you could taste was burnt chicken. The hamburger spring roll appetizer had some of them burnt on one side also. They never brought bread because they said the bread oven was broken. When we expressed our frustration to the server she did not seem to care too much. As we were paying for cheesecake to go, we expressed our frustration to a manager and she also clearly didn't care. We have eaten at the Cheesecake Factory tons of times. Thankfully this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Typically, when they screw something up at the Cheesecake Factory they do everything they can to take care of it so that you want to come back. I'm assuming this particular Cheesecake Factory did not get that memo? Pretty ridiculous experience but I've come to expect it when visiting california."

"Let me start by saying that my family and I LOVE Cheesecake Factory. We have had the pleasure of dining at this location on four (4) different occasions in the past twelve (12) months. That said,.... This last experience was by Faaaaar the worst. Our server, while handsome and charismatic, was too busy flirting with his co-workers, to write down our order. He had to return to our table, to ask my wife what she ordered. Once her order was ready, he realized that he hadn't submitted my order. He returned to our table again to ask me to repeat my order. I immediately told my wife, "...if he has time to flirt and play games with the cuties, then he has time to WRITE DOWN EACH ORDER." While my wifes drink came within five (5) minutes minutes,.... My drink took over twenty (20) minutes to get to my table. The server, NEVER ONCE, stopped to check on us, nor did he make any effort whatsoever to build repor with us. By the time my meal was ready, my wifes meal was cold. We sat patiently while we watched two other tables that were sat AFTER US, get the food, drinks and even dessert, all before we got our meals brought out to us. In defense of the server, he did take immediate ownership of the failures. I asked to speak to the GM. The GM was embarrassed and offered us his genuine and sincere apology, and took care of our entire ticket. Lastly, we will not likely visit this location again. Reason being, this was the second time that the GM had to accommodate us for the failure of his team. Our first experience there, the GM took care of our ticket due to gross failures by the kitchen team. My family and I will likely be going to the Mission Valley location instead."

"Always love coming to eat here. We came for Christmas Eve dinner and it was so good and so much fun. Not crowded at all and the atmosphere and service were great."
