"Miguel’s has the best food in Carlsbad. The host area is very friendly and accommodating and our wait was 5 minutes at 4:30. We were waited on right away, the server was very friendly and able to answer all our questions. I ordered a strawberry margarita which was the best I’ve had in a long time. I decided on the vegetarian enchiladas and they were to die for, the lime taste was amazing. The queso dip that you get with the tortilla chips is also amazing. I highly recommend this place and they also have Happy Hour until 6:00"

"This was my first time here. Overall good food. My tostada was MASSIVE! I got the chicken one....the flavor of the chicken was just Okay but the toppings and the tostada shell itself was delicious. The meal comes with salsa and queso dip (yum). The portion sizes are good. Yhe service was good tonight. This place is beautiful. And the bathrooms are clean."

"Nice place right near the coastline. The place looks very much upscale and very well maintained. The bar area is very classy and they have sone really good drinks. The parking is easy and lot of open spots. The Mud-Pie is a must try."

"I went with a group of 8 total, two small families. It was the evening not too packed but busy. I had to wait quite a bit for the waiter before getting drinks and had to ask for the chips twice. Felt rushed the whole time, I get it. What I feel is the following and it could be me. When I go here with just my family of 4 where the tip is dependent of the service I get super service when I got there last night where the tip came out to mandatory $80 its mediocre rushed service. I won't mention the waiter and hope management just addresses the following: Keep the service standard high in order to keep the customer coming constantly. You could have great food but dropping $500 and getting bad service won't keep me coming back. Again food was great!"

"The place is very nice inside. The staff was super nice and respectful. They were always asking if we needed anything. The food was good and on time. I think the price was about right. My only recommendation will be to have a friendlier staff when greeting customers at the door. So"
