"Dear Ralph Rubio and crew, First of all, thanks for keeping your doors open, and not selling out to the man, and the “fruity” fads so many taco shops do. In other words, thanks for keeping it real. I just had one of your latest tacos, that being Guajillo Lime Shrimp. It was outright righteous! I like how you regularly mix it up and always provide me with a bit of novelty. I’m hoping you’re keeping up with the Baja California latest cuisine and such and will be surfing that wave soon I hope."
"Rubios is very consistent. Every time I go I get the same quality of food across all locations. Last night I had the California bowl, which is my go-to, and a salmon Taco. I love their green sauce that's in the squeeze bottles at the salsa bar. I could put that on everything."

"California bowl with carnitas was tasty and two out of the three tacos were good, blackened fish taco was terrible and the order of chips and guacamole came with about 10 chips, the bag was less than half full, what a rip off!!!"
