Portillo's Buena Park

"Not as good as the other locations I frequenced around the country, but still damn good! The main disappointments were they barely put any giardinera on the Italian beef sandwich, and I asked for no cheese on my chili but they put cheese on it. But since I got the sandwich wet and didn't want to eat it cold and falling apart, I didn't bother taking the chili back. Other than those two things, the sandwich was amazing as always, the chili was flavorful and the fries were piping hot (ask for fries with no salt, you'll get em fresh and then put on as much as you'd like)!!! All in all, another really good Portillo's experience!"

"I love the food here! My favorite is the Maxwell St. Polish Sausage. This place is always crowded, including the drive-thru, but don't let that deter you. They run those lines like a well-oiled machine so that you get in and out quickly. There is a large covered outside patio, as well as multiple seats inside. They interior gives you that whole Chicago vibe, and the decor is entertaining. You can't go wrong no matter what you get. Their Italian Beef is also really good. I have a couple of friends who grew up in Chicago that make a beeline here because the taste and food offerings are authentic. Their shake are also thick and delicious, and they have a variety of desserts. The service is really good, quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a taste of Chicago."

"Love this spot! Been enjoying it since they expanded to Buena Park years ago. I’ve never had anything on the menu that wasn’t good. Just wish they’d bring back that honey Dijon sauce/dressing. I put it on everything, LOL. Great vibes. Old infamous pics. Fun Atmosphere. Great food."

"My to-go order would have been great if only they had included the sauces that I requested in my initial request. You can see it on the order receipt that I've attached to my review. The place is very busy, which means it's popular. The other patrons in line were very friendly. There is a drive thru that was constantly full as well. I'll have to try it again and see if they can earn their star back."

"I really like this place it's giving old school diner vibes like back in the drive in days when they showed movies yall know what I'm talking about. Anyway the place was crowded and we drove from LA to Buena Park just for this restaurant. It's always packed but they are good at keeping the line down. All the food is really good here and full of flavor. We spent about $75.00. I did a video for you guys and some pics. Enjoy...."
