"We have seafood noodle soup and seafood cold noodle soup. Portion was large enough to share for 3 people and still have left over. The cold noodle was wonderful, and I love the texture of the cold noodle. Definitively will be back."
"Don’t be fooled by the good reviews like I was. The Jjamppong and Jjajangmyeon were disappointingly tasteless. The only food that was edible was the Jajangbap (not pictured), but even that had some issues, like the rice having a grainy-like texture. Stay away from this place and save your money."
"For some reason, I prefer this location over the one in Arcadia. The noodles seem chewier, the black bean sauce a little chunkier and the spicy seafood soup a little more full of flavor and seafood. Anyway, both are good, but will go a little further when I can to Rowland Heights and have Arcadia location as my back up :) As I mentioned, I ordered the jajangmyun which was awesome. Tried the spicy version this time and loved the extra kick. Never tried it before because when I craved it, I didn’t want the spicy version to be so different it didn’t satisfy the craving. Now I can say, it’s very much the same, but with a kick. The jampong was also nice and spicy with lots of seafood. Noodle were really chewy and added to the soup this time around. Last time the soup was not strong enough to carry the noodles, so I didn’t add many. Was very different this time around. Last note is for packaging. Koreans restaurants handle to go orders the best and Kyodong is no different. ———— Wow! Korean Chinese comfort food at its finest. I’ve been in search of good jajangmyun or black bean noodle and jampong which is spicy seafood noodle soup. I loved this stuff as a kid and never understood why I couldn’t find these items on a Chinese restaurant menu :) Now that I realize this is a Korean version of Chinese dishes and are more likely to find in a Korean neighborhood, I know how to search when craving. These places are still hard to find, but happy I tried Kyodong. For a semi chain restaurant, I thought the dishes were one of the best I have tried. The spicy seafood noodle was spicy and rush in flavor. Noodles are a good addition, but didn’t add too many as I order the combo with sweet and sour pork as well as the black bean noodle. Just couldn’t decide, so ordered all three :) Black bean noodles were tasty, noodles nice a chewy and I have to say their packaging to go is perfect. See how the noodles and black bean sauce is packed together but separated, so east to carry out but still separated until it’s ready to be eaten. The items were well packaged and still hot after a 40 mins drive home in traffic. Pork was in a vented box, so still crunchy too. Maybe it’s because it’s been a minute since I’ve had these dishes (over a year) but for today, it hit the spot and then some so five stars from me. By the way, service was pretty great too. Tiny language barrier as my Korean stinks, but we worked it out and menu is in English too anyway."
"Ok I wanted to make sure I do review this place. I would have personally rated this place higher if I didn’t encounter some different things while eating inside. First of all this is in the plaza next to RH 2 BBQ, it seems to be family owned. When you come to eat at the place, you will go to the front to order first and pay, then when your food is ready, you would just go pick up your food. They do accept Apply Pay if anyone was wondering. Food I wanted to try a few different dishes since my friends told me that I would need to try a few things on the menu. I would recommend to get the Classic Black Bean Noodle with Diced Vegetable and the Fried Pork with Sweet Sour Sauce. These two dishes alone was great, and is why I still rated this place higher. I would probably just order next time to go if I wanted to eat this again. The Black Bean noodle is the classic Korean noodle, that is packed with flavor with noodles that had great texture. Not that the noodles are long so probably better to use the scissors they have to help cut if you are going to share. The Sweet Pork was crispy and tasted great with their sweet sauce. They put the sauce on the side, so that the pork wouldn’t get soggy. I did also try the Assorted Pork and Vegetable w Mustard Sauce, and the Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup. Both were pretty good as well, but I would still pick the first two I mentioned if I was to come back. The spicy noodle is great for those who like spicy, the broth was packed with intense flavor, and the cold dish was great to eat on a hot summer day THe ONLY thing that threw me off was the ONIONS. While eating at the place, someone was cutting onion, and already before I was able to eat, my eyes were starting to sting a bit, but we needed to stay inside because it was so hot outside. Another little hiccup I encountered was that they forgot my Spicy Noodle Soup, but they ended up getting that to us quickly after we brought it up. I would definitely come here in the future to eat the Black Bean Noodle dish, but I would probably end up getting to go because of the constant cutting of onions in the store. They had fans in there which I assumed was to help with that, but lesson learned already. Well until next time!"
"Great place for Koeran Noodle (aka jjamppong). The noodle bowl is huge!! Both the noodle and dumping tasted very good. Be aware that this place is self serve. Table and chair is not clean often."
