"Loving ethnic food and wanting to try something different on my business trip, I stopped into Shawarma House. Was greeted warmly by the owner and I asked what should I get. He recommended the Mixed Shawarma plate. Took it to go. First look, the portions are extreme. This is enough for two people. The salad was expertly dressed, rice perfectly cooked, the hummus has no second and the star of the dinner is the beef and chicken. Not overly spiced, or overly salty, but perfectly cooked and shaved. Eat in or takeout. The tables and atmosphere is warm and inviting and the entire establishment is clean, neat and well laid out. Getting in and out off of the busy street is easy and safe. Highly recommended! 12 stars."

"Was in the mood for shawarma and I was in garden grove. Decided to give this place a shot. The shawarma was a very big size and full of chicken and a big side of fries. It was good but not the best I’ve had. Not bad if you’re hungry and looking for a big portion. Just didn’t feel like it was an authentic shawarma sandwich."

"The food is outstanding! Best Shawarma I've ever eaten in my life. The young man at the counter was very nice and attentive."

"I didn’t ask for French fries over the phone, but when I asked for a wrap, the gentleman quickly mentioned fries as if the wrap came with them. Sneaky dishonest. He didn’t ask me if I wanted them, and he didn’t tell me that they cost extra. When I picked up my food, I saw the extra charge for the fries that I didn’t ask for, and since everything was already boxed up and I was in a hurry, I didn’t protest. Not a fan of the strong-armed, deceptive business practices. Hope the extra $3 was worth this 1-star review, buddy! Also: the fries were soggy & flavorless."

"Shawarma House is my go to eatery when I stay at the Delta Hotel. Good food, friendly service, and generous business practice. Went there to take out a sharwama plate and baba  ganoush. They had packed a beef samosa instead of the baba ganoush. It was quickly rectified, and the difference in price refunded. When I went back to the hotel room, I realised they had given me the samosas as well. They didn't  have to do that. Thank you for your generosity!! You're the best! PS- The beef samosas were very good, by the way...."
