"We made reservations for my birthday and we were seated in the patio when we arrived. Which was amazing because they had the heaters on. We also had a view of the city. The server was amazing and very attentive with us. The food was amazing and let’s not talk about the drinks that were delicious."

"This restaurant had been on my bucket list for a while to celebrate something special. I did celebrate Valentine's Day a bit early by having dinner here with my awesome girlfriend and everything was great. The goal was to sit out on the patio but it was a bit of a cold night so we stayed inside instead. The food was delicious and the service was great. The Waiter recommended the house special for the night which we selected as one of the plates. The atmosphere was very inviting, although there was a pretty loud table. Overall, I recommend if you are in the area or decide to plan for something nice. Will be coming back when it's not cold to enjoy the patio sitting."

"Just had the four course brunch experience on Christmas Day and it was a good one which I'd recommend to anyone since Luminarias isn't too fancy of a place nowadays (in my opinion) and especially as I remembered as a kid growing up in Monterey Park. (I also attended Monterrey Highlands.) I've also tried the regular brunch communal experience here and totally recommend that too. There are a few fire places here as well as outdoor seating. There's plenty of free parking but this restaurant is up on a very steep hill."
