McCaulou's Department Store 2020 Mountain Boulevard, Oakland, CA 94611

"I did not have a good experience with the staff or the shoes I bought from the next door shoe department at the Montclair location. I had the boots for 6 weeks wore them a few times and the heel separated from the base of the shoe on the outside. I took them back they told me it was wear and tear and the 30 day return policy expired. There is no $150 shoe that should fall apart after 6 weeks. Obviously it was a lemon as the brand was always good previously. They would not hear of it and insisted I damaged the boot and they would not accept the return. I will never spend a penny there again. If you can't back up your products then that is not a place I want to shop. Also very apathetic attitude from the manager. Not really how you want to be with customers."

"Nice throwback neighborhood dept store. Jas a retro feel to it but in the end has a good variety of basic clothing especially for women. For men, it has more of a rugged outdoorsy styles of clothing."

"Amazing place if you dont want your kid looking like all the rest who wear Target brand clothes. Great selection of lesser seen items. The manager is awesome too, Myhanh and her staff were extremely helpful and attentive."
