"Having a super painful experience with a return. My husband bought me a sweater for Xmas from the Larkspur store. He got the Cable Cocoon Cardigan and it wasn’t the one I wanted but it also showed pilling already and it’s very itchy. When I went to the store to return it for the sweater I wanted (didn’t even want a refund), she told me it shows obvious signs of wear and she couldn’t accept it back. All the tags were on it and I explained that must’ve been how he received it because I had not worn it. Was told to contact their customer service and maybe they could help me. I’m working with their customer service dept now and they are now making us jump through hoops to prove the purchase even though I forward the Apple Pay charge for the exact amount of the sweater I have. All I wanted was to get the sweater I had wanted originally but now I don’t want to do business with this company. The personnel at the store pretty much told me I was lying to them. And now the Customer Service is making it sound as if it was stolen to prove the purchase. The tags were still on it, and I not only showed them the credit card charge but also the receipt (thank goodness my husband found it). At this point, I can share that the item I received was not good quality and the service has been terrible and a process. I will not be shopping at this store and probably not this business ever again. Given the reviews, I’m not the only one."

"I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Julia! I was visiting my family in California for Christmas and I don’t have a Jenni Kayne in my home state and was hoping to exchange a sweater I got in a different color and Julia went above and beyond to not only answer all my questions and deliver on them but also make it incredibly convenient for me to return the sweater and get the exchange done without me having to drive an hour each way for me to get there! Thank you Julia for helping me and for making me a loyal customer of Jenni Kayne!"

"I’m not sure what the bad reviews are about. JK has extremely high quality items and all sweaters pill. They provide specific instructions for taking care of sweaters (Laundress). The Marin location is fantastic! Emma from customer service helped me track down an item that was completely out of stock with no plan to restock. The Marin location had one left and helped me purchase over the phone. I would happily shop here again!"

"Jenni Kayne's slippers injured my feet but their customer service agent refused to assist me. I initially got the Shearling Clogs but they attracted so much dust and fur that I exchanged them for the Shearling Lined Clogs in my normal size. Even though their webpage claims the Shearling Lined Clogs fit "true to size," they seemed small. I went into the Larkspur store to get the right size. After wearing the size that was recommended for a couple days, my middle toes started to hurt. I kept hoping that they would break in since I had already worn them and they are so expensive. But after a month my toes were in constant pain. I contacted customer service and asked them if there was anything they could do. They refused to help me."
