"The food was okay. I had the buffalo cauliflower, jaegerschnitzel, and espresso creme brulee. The cauliflower was under cooked (the server recommended it over the frickles (fried pickles)). Also, the cauliflower comes with a side of bleu cheese or ranch per the menu, so I asked for bleu cheese. When the food came there wasn't bleu cheese, and so I asked for it. When the bill came I was charged for an extra side of dressing. I pointed out the extra charge to the server and he said he'd have to check if the cauliflower comes with dressing (it does). The jaegerschnitzel was good but the sauce was a little watery and the spaetzel was mushy. I will say the espresso creme brulee was delicious, though there wasn't a carmelized sugar top (I believe there should have been according to the menu - and it's creme brulee). As for service, it was slow given they were at about 30 percent capacity (I waited almost 10 minutes for a menu). Either the server was new or just...IDK. End of day, I was excited to come here and slightly disappointed when I left unfortunately. I like EJ Phair and am guessing this was a fluke, so I will probably try them again someday."

"My go to at least once a week! Crazy but I am addicted to the cranberry chicken salad without the cheese! Pull up a table on patio, after you check in of course! Staff are lovely too!"

"Only stopped by for a beer, so can't comment on the food. Of course the beer was great. They have a good selection on tap. They still aren't back to making their own, but I'm told 2024 is a good target. Inside vibe has a bit of old school bar vibe with a couple of TV's above the bar. Outside is a functional patio facing the parking lot. Wait staff were very friendly and attentive (took me a bit to find the beer I wanted). Will update once I come back for the food!"

"They’re a brand new location- just opened in July 2019 so I’m gonna cut em slack on things that need improvements. I’ve been here 8 times since they’ve opened and it’s August 19th today. I enjoy coming here. Long story short it’s a place with beer for all and pub food and there is NO place like this anywhere in Alamo. It’s cool. Sure there is some beer and some food I didn’t like but a lot of it I do like. People who judge things off of one visit are typically impatient and overly critical. Give the place a few tries and try new things. Then make a decision. Personally I can’t wait for the outdoor patio to be built. That’s gonna be awesome."
