"Booked a photo shoot two weeks in advance. Finally the day of the photoshoot comes. "Oh look JC Penny's changed the appointment to next week Friday at 5:30p," no phone call, or anything. An email at 10:32pm. The night before. The staff says that the system must of overbooked us with someone else. How, does this happen when we booked two weeks ago and you could have called anytime within two weeks. Instead of being upset, I am at peace now. I clearly expected too much of this deparment store. A confirmation for any photoshoot here can be considered the same as false advertising. Not looking for service recovery, but a sensible explaination and a genuine apology."
"Whenever I go, but forget my card.. It's not enough to use my CALIFORNIA ID..I'm grilled/ line of questions....and treated like it's unbelievable that I even have a card from there. Kohl's & Costco doesn't make you feel so...Ugh, nor make one feel so uncomfortable. Whenever I don't have my card.. I gave.. ID, address and other identifying factors they're still staring at register saying no info.. until a supervisor steps in"
"They wonder why thieft is so high and customer / employee satisfaction is so low... Perhaps try having more than 3 staff working during the day. One manager hiding, one slacking in jewelry, and one completely swamped at the only open register in the entire store! The line of about 20-30 people goes through half the store. This place is an absolute joke. So very poorly run. This isn't an isolated incident. I come here 1-2 times a week. It's been like this for at least 2 years, that I know of."
