"This restaurant is a solid choice, based on the type of restaurant it is. The atmosphere feels very much like a chain restaurant (no surprise, but the one in San Francisco Golden Gate feels less chainy). We sat outside in the covered porch area and it was nothing special, but the restaurant seemed like it would be a bit nicer. We went in for a quick dinner. The Japanese wasabi ahi poke bowl was very fresh and good. The spicy salmon bowl was also very fresh and good. There was a lot of food for the price and it was all very tasty. They did put in a "living wage surcharge" of 3% on the bill. Which is fine, but I don't remember seeing that posted anywhere, and I wouldn't expect that in a chain restaurant."

"Happy hour stuff were decent before. But now seems smaller. The services was slow and didn’t offer chopsticks. So we add the sushi with fork. I guess I never noticed before they start charging “living wage surcharge “."

"Great Happy Hour selection and food was ok. Clam Chowder is flavorful but very watery, not what most expect from a chowder. Pupu platter is great order to taste a variety of appetizers. Didn’t care for the crispy rice as it has absolutely no taste, and the spicy tuna was not spicy or seasoned enough to top a bland base. Fish taco was delicious with a huge portion of fish and a tasty and slightly spicy sauce. Spicy tuna roll was ok as tuna was not spicy at all. Best part of our meal was definitely the dessert! High recommend and portion is big enough to share."

"3 stars for the food. Food came quickly and accurately. Nice dining area with both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were nice. Free parking in public garage across the street. No line to get in but helps to have reservation. Ordered Grilled Salmon with corn and salad, seasonal Clam Chowder, and guac & chips as appetizer. Cost about $40/person including tax, tip and added charge for employee benefits; no alcoholic drinks ordered."
