"This was an amazing lunch. I came across Carmel Valley by chance when I realized there was a bus line that runs there, am I glad I stayed on the bus to explore this area and find this restaurant! The patio dining in the sun with a view of the valley was priceless. A lovely patron who was also sunbathing invited me to join her, it was great to know we were experiencing the same bliss on the patio. I went for the pumpkin curry and it was paired really nicely with hot sauce, there were other lunch specials available I would have loved to try. The staff were remarkably kind, from the female server who acknowledged everyone by “dear” to the other gentleman introducing that he was from El Salvador and loves to work at this location for the ambiance. I can definitely see why, it was one of my most peaceful meals."

"So so good. In fact my wife and I split a couple of items and it was more than enough. The Thai fried rice and pad Thai with peanut sauce. We got into town and stayed at the lodge nearby and had very little opportunity to grab food but they were willing to stay open for us even for a few minutes after closing time. The owner was wonderful."
