"We started to come for coffee and ended up Having the wonderful tasty homemade soups they are offering. Every single choice on the menu is healthy and tasty. Coffee is very good also. What a wonderful hidden gem coffee shop with a great atmosphere and service. Definitely must visit."

"So glad we stopped here, as there's a lot to like about California Coffee! The people are kind, hard working, and have a lot of positive energy. I really enjoyed the lentil soup. Everyone enjoyed their drinks and pastries. Parking was easy and they're not far off highway 1, which made it a quick and easy pit stop. They have wifi available. (I didn't use it, so I can't speak to the quality of the wifi.) Indoor and outdoor seating is available, with a special gated part in the outdoor area that's specifically for dogs too. I wish I lived closer, because I'd be a regular here!"

"I love California Coffee! Sylvia the owner is amazing and so is her staff! The public events on the patio/ garden area are awesome. Great place to look at local artist work, sip your coffee and eat a breakfast burrito or pastery! I love sitting by the water fountain with my kids. Dog friendly, kid friendly. Everyone is welcome!! "I don't drive this way often but when I do, I make sure I stop by here and grab a delicious latte and burrito! Anything I have tried here on the menu is great! The live music and family feel-good vibes here really make the experience worthwhile. The owner and staff are fun social people to chat it up with and make you feel so welcome. I encourage everyone to visit this sweet gem of a spot tucked away in Aptos."
