"A real treat in Los Banos. Old style but not stuffy service. A little dated on decor, but you are there for the food. I had an excellent and generous plate of chicken livers in perfect sauce. My wife had eggplant Parmigiano. Strong recommendation."
"So I had great hopes because of what the locals had said but I was sadly mistaken... It was 10 minutes before anyone noticed we had walked in. Rang the bell twice then this sweet hostess sat us down and proceeded to give us all the updates of the menu. she was great. Bread was awesome, calamari was good but small portions. Salad was yummy the bruschetta was good then it took a terrible turn. The chicken Parmesan looked and tasted like a TV dinner. The sauce tasted like canned sauce. The ravioli were cold and tasted like they had been frozen. The worst was yet to come was how our digestive tract responded to the food. We will never go back to M&M. It was a $104.00 + tip lesson we learned. Yes we tipped the waitress because she did an amazing job serving us she didn't cook the food."
"Sometimes you come across a gem. We were vacationing in Yosemite by way of San Francisco in early August 2023. We decided to take a different route back to see new scenery. We came across M&M about halfway back. We were pleasantly delighted. The atmosphere was reminiscent of European style restaurants-old world. The service was outstanding. The food was delicious and wasn't pre-prepared. We thought the prices were very reasonable given it's not fast food. Many locals came in while we were eating a full-course lunch, which is always a good sign."
"I can immediately recommend this place. Traveling from LA to Monterey and Sequoia Park you will definitely be passing by this beautiful place. We ordered 4 meals and all of them were top notch. 1. The steak was medium and the chef did the right thing. The steak was amazing, juicy, flavorful and served with onions 2. The scallop paste was rich in flavors, the scallops were juicy and soft. 3. Lasagna. As my friend said, this was the tastiest pasta he has ever had. Juicy, tasty and aromatic. 4. The last dish was Pasta balaniese and it once again showed us the professionalism of this place and their chefs."
