"Unsuspecting luncheonette on the side of the road in wine country. The quality of the food doesn’t match what you would expect. Some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Breading and crunch was great and the chicken was not dried out. The chicken biscuit (#1 with honey) was amazing. Sweet and savory was a great combination. Mac n cheese was creamy and the Mac was not over cooked. I would consider this Bay Area average prices with most plates are around $14ish dollars. Great value for what you get."

"I would skip the burger next time (a bit too gristly for me). The fries were very good, and the chicken sandwich was good. We both really liked the potato salad, very pickle-forward. Loved the choice of sparkling wine at this roadside diner. Not sure why they changed the name several times, but it was worth a stop."

"Nothing to help fuel you during se wine tasting like fried chicken. Really impressed with their breading and fry technique. Chicken was perfectly tender. They also offer a decent beer selection. I went for the moonlight Pilsner given how hot it was. The line was a little bit of a wait so factor that in. I wouldn’t sleep on the hush puppies and the side of ranch is a must. If you’re deciding between butter and jam on the biscuits, go with the jam. You won’t regret it."

"Don’t let the looks from the outside stop you from stopping. This is a definitive hole in the wall that is WORTH A STOP. I was recently in the area and my group decided to stop and it was the best decision we made on this trip. The chicken was moist, delicious, fresh and makes me want more. Everything is reasonably priced, much better priced than other restaurants. They have a kids menu that won’t break the bank. I had the chicken sandwich and it is in the top of the list for chicken sandwiches. It is a hearty chicken breast battered and fried with a perfect blend of spices. It also came with a potato salad that was delicious. They have a great beer tap list. Sit back and enjoy a beer with your chicken. If you are in the area wine tasting, and need something to soak up the alcohol. You need their fried chicken. It won’t disappoint. Even if you weren’t drinking alcohol, it won’t disappoint, I can confidently say that, as I was the DD of the group. The hardest part might be finding a parking spot as the parking lot quickly filled up when I was there. You wouldn’t think it from the outside driving by."
