"Purchased a new Reliance water heater 12 days ago and it has failed. I called Friedmans and the manager told me through the person that answered the phone that I had to call the manufacturer of the water heater. Friedmans only sells them and any issues have to be taken care of by the manufacturer. Friedmans will not replace it. I called the manufacturer and their not going to replace it either. Instead their sending me new parts to fix the brand new water heater. I will have to pay a plumber to replace the gas valve and thermopile. Of course I'll have no hot water until the parts come and I can get a plumber to come out. Easy, just go without a shower for a few days. What a way to do business. I'll never buy anything at Friedmans again. Tired of the gouging prices on everything they sell anyway. Wish there was a zero stars on these reviews."

"This is the best home improvement store ever! The prices are fair, the sales are great and the employees know their departments! Not only do they know their departments but if you are working on a DIY project and you're looking for an item that you "think" you need, they always seem to have great ideas on how to do it the job more efficiently, cheaper and better. The guys in the plumbing and electrical departments have saved me on several occasions! That in itself puts Friedman's Sonoma at the top of my list!"
"Friedman's the best. I always stop and shop every time when I visit my in-laws in Sonoma. The best garden every plants/vegetables I bought from here are very very healthy. And good prices. Employee are friendly and helpful . The check out line sometimes get a bit slow."
