"I grew up in Sebastopol. This place was just a window next to a donut shop. They've since expanded into the neighboring shops and they deserve it! Since I moved away there have been plenty of new uppity Mexican places that have popped up. I'm looking at you Papas Y Pollo. But nothing can compare to the tasty authenticity of Viva Mexicana. Everything has flavor here and there really isn't any reason to go anywhere else."
"Finally stopped here for the first time and was so impressed! Lots of veggie options, unique combos, and good looking meat options, too. I had the mushroom and broccoli burrito, and it was delicious. The owner was there and super friendly. Colorful and clean interior decorated with paintings for sale from a Mexican artist. Total gem of a restaurant, especially if you're looking for healthy organic Mexican food with true veg options. I'll definitely be back!"

"We had dinner at a delightful restaurant in Sebastopol! The food was really delicious and well prepared! They take care to offer vegan, gluten free, and vegetarian options! Solid place for anyone. The staff was exceptional! Super friendly and knowledgeable, plus while we dined in, the server greeted everyone by name! They seem to have a dedicated and devoted following! We had vegan tamale plate, vegan sopes plate and a vegan elote! All so good! Their watermelon aqua fresca was next level! So fresh and tasty! We really enjoyed our experience and would recommend this place to anyone! Viva good food!"
"Best Mexican food in Sebastopol, hands down. Clean place, fast service and very delicious dishes. Server wore mask and gloves when serving our food. They also have beautiful and colorful posters for sale as well as wine, cheese, and much more. Highly recommend this spot. I'm definitely coming back."
