"Visited for the first time in Valentine’s Day and had the Valentine’s prix fixe menu. The service and food were great. One of the owners was in, helping out the staff, and came he over and introduced himself and asked how we were doing. Only suggestion I have is adding prices to the chalkboard with the drink specials but otherwise we had a great time. Left with full stomachs and satisfied. We’ll definitely be back"
"Sad to see the end of El Farolito restaurant and menu items with recipes that were delicious for over 40 years. The new sauce for their chili rellanos was a disappointment. Of course their prices have had to increase but charging $2.50 for chips and salsa was a surprise on our bill. They need to bring back some of the old recipes since we were told the current owners are still there. If they bring back my favorite chili rellano sauce then we'll be back. Service was just OK, the waitress was a bit unorganized. After waiting 15 minutes we had to ask for water twice. It wasn't that busy when we were there. We're going to give them one more try. We had been going to El Farolito for over 40 years as our "go to" place for good Mexican food. Hope they can improve on food and service. If it's not broken, don't try to fix it. Please bring back the old recipes!"
