"This is the example of my theory that the smaller and plainer the place the better the Mexican food. Really good food. Some of the best Mexican food I've had. I've eaten there a few times and it just gets better. They just need to fix the lights in the bathrooms. Use the light on your phone."
"Stopped in for lunch and had a great time! The torta I ordered was SO good. Definitely one of the best I've had. The chips were also hot and freshly fried. The birra burrito was decent, but the consumé on the side was the best part. Very well priced!"
"Great service and the food portions are great. I ordered the birria fries and my husband ordered the soft tacos combination. While the food looked incredible, there was something missing in the flavor. Maybe a lack of salt in the fries and could use more hot sauce or kick to the fries plate and tacos."
"Wow. We love this place. It’s got nice and easy, no-frill outdoor seating that is dog friendly and great prices. But the star of this place is Eva and the food. Eva is such a friendly and attentive server with good recommendations and conversation. The fish and shrimp tacos are a favorite. (The fish taco comes with a really good purple cabbage slaw.) Guacamole is great, comes with queso fresca. And then there’s the birria. Hot damn. So savory and juicy. We haven’t tried the burritos but will be back. Come hungry!"
