"El Tapatio is a great place to eat. It was our first time in this restaurant. We were greeted promptly and sat just a couple of minutes afterward. Our order and food were delivered promptly, and everything was delicious. From the fresh and crispy in restaurant fried chips with flavorful salsa to the fried ice cream served in a fried flour tortilla bowl, served with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The vegetables in the tacos were crisp, fresh, and delicious. Our dinners were large portions with savory sauces. Also important, our young servers were very friendly and attentive. We were never in need. Something I also thought was nice is one side of the restaurant, which is a cantina style area with a bar and booths. I was with my teenage daughter, so we sat on the brighter, more family style area. This was a nice option."

"The portions are massive. The service is phenomenal, and the food is out if this world. I have a very serious Gluten Allergy and they always take it very seriously. This is the first place that I took my mom when she came to visit from CA. I cannot recommend this place more!"

"This is the BEST place in Medford for a first date! (In my opinion). There’s so much to see and the service is so festive you can have a great time even if it’s not a great date! They smash avocados to make guacamole right there! With gusto! Overly friendly waiters are sure to give you something in common as you will be wondering why they are so friendly.? Don’t bring someone who dislikes being touched. I recommend the trios ma….something on the second page…the dish comes in a sizzling cast iron cauldron and serves two! They have the most delicious Carne Asada that I’ve ever tasted! But be careful of the large green pepper in the middle! My friend said the hotter the better until he took a bite and then he changed his mind about hot peppers lol. Not so tough now haahaa. The room became super hot after the pepper haahaa. I’m a Minnesota girl and don’t do spicy, but even though just putting the pepper in made it spicy it was still delicious! I polished off the leftovers myself with a glass of ice water. Don’t eat this without a drink! It was a wonderful time. They also have a bar (cantina) that has sports on big screen televisions! It’s beautifully decorated and they serve the best warm homemade tortilla chips with beans and salsa! Such a flavorful place! Two cokes and the trio ma….? Came out to $30 plus tip! We were both stuffed and had leftovers! Definitely going back, this place has a wonderful energy!"

"We really enjoyed El Tapatio. This may be our new favorite. It's the best we found in Medford so far. Chips and salsa were delicious served with beans. The salsa was more of the smoky Chipotle type and delicious. I had a margarita and it was tasty. I can tell there was some mixology and not just tequila and the mix. My husband lived his chilie Verde burrito. The pork was marinated nicely in the sauce and was flavorful. I got my old standby of a cheese enchilada and chicken taco. For a cheese enchilada, I was please how tasty it was. The shell on the taco was ok, but the chicken was tender and the fillings overflowing. We will definitely go again and try some other menu items."
