"Wonderful find off the beaten path. Warm and cozy. I could have watched the kitchen all night. I had their corn and Pasilla pepper chowder. (Incredible) their beet salad, huge portion-enough for two. And their mushroom wood fired pizza. So darn good. Everything was expertly prepared and the flavors were fresh and balanced. They have a very nice wine list as well."

"We ordered pizza Margarita and Cameron suggested to add sausage and we were very pleased with the result. I recommend it. Also pizza with the wild mushrooms was very good too! MORACCON LAMB TANGINE was outstanding! It comes with polenta this was one of the best polenta that I had. Cameron is very polite and has good taste! He provided a 5 star costumer service. Good work Cameron!"

"Coming here was not part of my original plans but I’m glad that changed. After hiking all day through the redwoods I had a craving for some pizza which allowed me to find this restaurant. The food was very different from my usual liking but so good nonetheless. I started with the wild mushroom cobbler which was so much better than I had expected and then ordered the autumn butternut pizza because when else would I be able to try something like that? Ended up finishing the entire thing and went back to the hotel satisfied. Also, they give out free bread but I didn’t want to load up on that before my actual meals and if you have more than two people you should definitely call ahead for reservations. There is a small bar area that allowed me to walk in and be seated."

"After thoroughly looking through all the places to eat in Eureka, I chose this one. I love Bistros and this place did not disappoint. Clarissa, our waiter, was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. We got the Kobe Beef and Mushroom Plate for an appetizer, they paired very well together. For dinner we did the steak and Italian mac and cheese. Everything was just wow."

"Tonight's dinner was my first meal here, I have to say the service, the food and the atmosphere are all what I was looking for on a slightly rainy evening. The dimly lit restaurant struck a good balance between comfort and sophistication, and the brick pizza oven gave the room an slight amber glow. The wait staff were all professional and welcoming — like I was a local — unafraid to spark a quick and friendly conversation. I read a lot about the mushroom cobbler, and when it came out, I had to instantly snap this photo. The presentation and the taste was so perfect. Crusty and savory on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. If they ask you if you want the olives and tomatoes on your Italian mac and cheese, please consider saying YES. It did not disappoint. Brick and Fire was not hard to locate. With easy to find street parking, I was able to pop in about an hour and a half before they closed."
