"Really enjoyed this course! First timer. Normally I don’t leave reviews at places, but after the terrible recent reviews I read about this course, I wanted to be sure to share my thoughts. The tee boxes, fairways and greens are in good shape. The cart path could use some TLC - pretty rough. The carts are top notch. Clubhouse is nice along with the amenities available. Staff is friendly and helpful. My boyfriend and I have visited many golf courses and I think if we were to decide on getting a membership somewhere it would most likely be here. Well worth the money IMO!"
"11/10/2022 Hidden Jewel, discovered by accident. Can’t believe its available to the public. As nice a course as you will find, every hole presents it’s own challenges surrounded by beautiful views and terrain. The staff was great. I hate that this course is 2 hours from home but, I most certainly will plan another trip very soon. A trip to Avalon needs to be on your bucket list!"
"Avalon is one of the nicest courses in the area for sure. Though the course isn’t in stellar condition by any means, not for the expensive green fee at least. Scheduled tee times have also been a big congested mess some days. Nonetheless, a very fun course with great staff and members! If priced more appropriately I could see 5-Stars."
"Attended an event with the Wine Society of East Tennessee that was held at T-Prime Steakhouse at Avalon Country Club. The food was outstanding. The chef is creative and the service was first rate. The dining room is quiet and elegant and there is even an outdoor patio that overlooks the golf course. If you a looking for a romantic evening out, this would be perfect. I highly recommend!"
