Dollar General

"Customer service at this store is non-existent. The blond lanky guy that works here needs a lesson in basic customer service skills. He has the personality of a dead moth. I couldn't even get a basic "hello" or even a "have a good day" when he rang me up, just the total. Well, I did get a big sigh when he finally came up to the register to ring me up. Dude, if you hate your job so much, quit.. or go flip burgers somewhere where you don't have to interact with customers."

"This dollar general does not check their expiration date I recently bought some dr.pepper dark berry the was expired on Aug 22 of 2022 and did not realize it until two days later called to see what I needed to do said I would need a receipt to return it I thought I had grabbed it but I didn't was told they cant do a refund do to this so I am now having to contact corporate because I am sick from this"

"I love this store and the management is beyond kind. I wish I could give 5 stars but there is one employee that is consistently rude and very hard to deal with. She comes off as if she is bored with your interaction and has terrible customer service. I do not have a name but I do know she has red hair. I actually will walk out and drive to another store if I see she is working."

"I just found this dollar general as I've been traveling far. I am new to the area and this would be my third time in the store. I got a few things and I tried the self check out and it just kept saying no cash....I had a card so I just got in line. Then a lady from the back came and asked to help the next person in line so I went to her counter and said I need a pack of cigs then from what it looked like to me said nothing kept scanning so I thought she could not hear me due to the sneeze gaurds so I said her name, "Maddie" I need a pack of cigs" and she snapped and said,"I HEARD YOU I SAID OKAY"! she then got the cigs asked for id I went to get my id came back in and explained that I thought she could not hear me and I'm sorry if she took me wrong. She absolutely said nothing lol Why have managers if they can not communicate properly with customers any other time I've came in the other cashier's have been great. Why this lady?"

"Friendly helpful late shift employees who were very helpful. There was a problem with marked down seasonal items. The more experienced clerk knew what to do about it. She only forgot to do the same for a number of items and redo them using her method of taking off the discount. So I did pay regular price on 6 items. However, I had 2 separate orders and both were over $70. And it was almost closing time. I let it go at the time. But do keep a close eye on whatever you buy off the markdowns table items that you want to purchase to insure that you're not overpaying at the register. MamaBearOOO Each day is a gift.
