Viking Pizza Company - Spring Hill

"We visited this place on Friday evening and we loved the ambiance. The atmosphere was pretty cool, we loved the concept of firewood pizza as well. We ordered a dragon fire pizza. The taste was pretty good, the flavors were so different from the other pizza places due to the wood fire. A couple of things they need to improve are the quantity of toppings they use and service time. They mentioned it’s a 14-inch pizza, but the toppings used were very less. You can clearly see that the outer portion of the pizza doesn’t have any toppings. The restaurant was pretty busy on Friday evening, the delivery time needed to be improved as well. We waited an hour for our dinner order, but with awesome taste we forgot about the wait."

"We always try to eat at family owned joints when out of town and this place came up on our search, so we tried it. Super cool place with some good sounding specialty pizzas. I went with the jalapeno popper and was impressed, it was so good."

"We always try to shake it up and try something new. Viking Pizza is a bit on the edge of Spring Hill but it's 100% worth a dine in. They lay heavily into the Viking theme with their pizza names and atmospheric decor. The kitchen is an open concept with massive pizza ovens that are wood fired. Pizza kid tossing dough in the air and it's a great thing to watch for the kids. Pizza is solid and depending on the pizza special you order--pricing can be competitive with chains and other local menus. In my opinion, it's the best pizza place in Spring Hill and immediate area. Oh, the beer selection isn't boring compared to the standard dribble other bars offer."

"Such a fun atmosphere and great food! Wonderful wood fired pizza with awesome selections. We had By Odin’s Beard and it was great but we want to try many others in the future. Definitely a new favorite. Also they have a fantastic giant cookie selection that all look amazing."

"An off the beaten path treasure! I was driving home from Nashville and this place was recommended to me, so I made a detour, and I am SO glad I did! The counter person was super helpful when I was ordering. I didn't want a conventional red sauce and the Thor's Legacy caught my eyes with the help of the gent at the counter: Garlic olive oil base, sliced meatballs, mozzarella, ricotta cheese, spinach, basil, tomatoes. MAN, what a fantastic pizza! This is be added to Nashville treks in the future. I would like to see smaller versions added, but I cannot fault them for serving too much food at a reasonable price! The service was top notch, and the restroom were spotless. The ambiance was typical for an independent eatery."
