The Icehouse of Oakland

"We're always looking for a good burger. We decided for a late night drive to Oakland to try Icehouse. It is more of a bar than we expected. There's not much on the menu but what we had was great."

"Honestly, I was surprised when me and a couple buddies went to try out Icehouse. I’m new to Oakland and there isn’t much around besides Mexican so this was a nice change in pace. They have a pretty good assortment of different types of beers you can try and fresh! The menu is simple so if you aren’t great at making decisions, this should be great for you. I got the burger, which was pretty good but I was pretty jealous of the flat breads my buddies got, they looked incredible. The pretzel was a great way to get that additional carb intake as well. The service was personable as our server gave all his recommendations on the food and the weekly schedule of activities that Icehouse hosts. I’ll be back for the trivia and bee ASAP!"

"After my day, jus imagine me goin to a craft beer joint. Another great decision by me as that place was awesome! The owner was kewl af as he got Texas roots as do I, even some common stomping grounds and musical interests. The brews actually tasted great and cold. Not the biggest beer fan, the one I liked had apricot and citrus notes. Another had a dark cherry thing goin. The food tastes good but a pinch much on the salt. This place is easy and relaxing to hang out in and yeah, I'd go back!!! Nicely done, my good sir..."

"The beer is great here! Good selection and it's nice to have a laid back local place to come sit and have a beer or two. We tried the flatbread pizza and it was delicious. Staff was really friendly. We brought in our own growler to fill up and take home. We'll be back!"

"The beer is fantastic, and they even let you try small samples if your uncertain about the flavor. The food is really good and filling. Absolutely loved the service. Everyone was very down to earth and friendly, special mention for Jason who talked with my wife and I about what the Icehouse hopes to do in the near future. I will deffinantly be coming here again and highly recommend it to everyone."
