"I have enjoyed this location when it was CB's, Big Max, and now Pappyy's. The only thing that I miss is the pork sandwiches being made out of pork shoulder instead of the Pork Butt that Pappy uses. Otherwise the people are nice, the sandwiches are big, and the Fried chocolate pies are good!"
"We are from Chicago and looked up places for good BBQ in town around me when we traveled to TN. Being from Chicago BBQ is around town but what we experienced at Pappy’s was amazing food, great environment, and friendly people. We loved every minute from ordering until we left.. anybody that loves great BBQ and just an over all great experience please stop in to these place you won’t regret it! Thanks guys!!!"
"I had the brisket plate , little to much fat on it , not a lot of meat just enough to cover a bun , but the baked beans is were my mouth went hold up !!! They tasted more like chili beans then baked beans . Not a big fan of that at all. Didn't really go with BBQ . Potato salad was good though."
"I've been to A LOT of BBQ joints in my life, but this BBQ, it has no choice but to stand out! The BBQ was plentiful on my regular sandwich, I literally had enough bbq left for 2 or maybe even 3 more sandwiches, the slaw and the bbq sauce had it's own flare. I already have and will in the future tell my friends and family, it's worth the drive to come try it! Thanks y'all!!!!"
