"If I could give a zero stars I would I pawned my gun here during hard times they never mentioned I would have to get a background check to get it back so I failed the background check and so I let them keep the gun which they gave me $300.00 for and I payed them $45 for an extension forward to today I went in the gun was listed for $549.00 I agreed to pay that plus tax well I failed the background again that I thought I had cleared up they called me and told me I could pick up my money lol yeah right I got there today and they took 20 percent restocking fee really ? What kind of business preys on customers like that I have been in the customer service industry for 33yrs and never screwed any customer like that. They talked about used car salesman these people are 100 times worse don't believe the fake reviews on here these people treat you horrible talk to you like trash and steal money from you. Don't purchase or pawn here there are better places. Rosario Gonzalez"

The owner and staff have become great friends to me. Great prices on guns and other items. This is an easy 5 star! Knowledge is everything and they have it! "This is going to be an honest review as I don’t know how you be anything else. It’s going to be the whole truth and not a sanitized, everything here is perfect 5 star review. Please note I did rate this at 5 stars on purpose and that’s not an accident or mistake. I was served with divorce paperwork a couple weeks ago and my world has been falling apart, so if I sound overly dramatic, it’s due in large part to the fear that my children, that I dearly love may be taken from me. Though I was served with divorce paperwork, Nothing has been decided, as I’m guessing for many who have been through a divorced, that the uncertainty and fear upends the world. Our first meditation is tomorrow and I’m terrified. Why is this guy saying any of this personal stuff? - I can hear you saying In the midst of this chaos, my son needed to have a tooth removed and our insurance wasn’t going to cover everything. I was distraught the day I went into the pawn shop and found myself sharing some of what was going on. I could tell Rob was listening, which I haven’t much of lately from the people around me. I’m guessing this next part is something Rob wishes I wouldn’t share, but if I don’t, I don’t think this will be as honest as it could be, he offered me more than I had expected. As grateful and surprised as I was at his offer. I realized a bit later this it seemed to be a business decision. In this day and age Google reviews can make or break a business. I am a business owner myself and understand this. After we came to an agreement, I thank his for helping me out. At which point, it felt like he made a business decision to ask if I could leave a review, I agreed. As much as I wish I could leave a 5 star review for the business itself. I believe that would be dishonest. This review is specifically about Rob. The middle aged guy that the rest of the reviews seemed to obsessively refer to him as. Walking out of the door with cash and more than I expected was great. The 5 star review as all know isn’t about how well a business functions but how we feel about the space and the people working there and the ease of interaction. 1. The interaction was simple and clear. I knew what I was getting and what my options are. 2. The space: is well organized and clean. I’ve purchased many things here over the 8 years I’ve lived in the area 3. The People: Rob took the time to hear my story and empathize with me. I felt heard and understood. I asked him to please stop being nice to me or I was going to start crying. This 5 star review which I’d make a 7 star review is because of what he said as I was walking out the door. “Come by anytime man, even if it’s just cool off” I could tell he was offering me a place to come and feel safe. I sat in my car and cried for the next few minutes. Thank you Rob I have more things I’d like to share, but if I don’t get off this thing my kids are going to be late for school. Thanks again"

"horrible experience with Robert. go here if you want to be yelled at by middle aged men over any amount of question!! went in browsing for a new sports gun for the range and i inquire nicely for a gun he had there on the rack and he told me when he handed me they actually underpriced it and that when I left they were going to change the price. I said how convenient it’s probably just a sales tactic. and he called me inexperienced since I didn’t know the brands, and I stood my ground respectfully and professionally telling him I’m not the one owning the gun shop and that I didn’t have the years of wisdom and experience that The veteran did. so he then proceeded to raise his voice to tell me that we will not sell to me and to leave his store. Since i told him to stop raising his voice at me. horrible interaction, I ended up with feelings hurt, and that man lost a good sale. on the bright side. it’s Texas, get a gun or anything for that matter anywhere else!"
