"Very unique experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable. You need to call and schedule in advance. $50 per adult, and they provide life jackets, kayaks, and gloves. They recommend you wear warm clothes and closed toed shoes. We would definitely recommend doing this trip."

"Don was super kind. I was booking this trip from overseas for a trip when I was home and surprising a friend and he helped me with the gift. We spoke on the phone and he was so friendly. I paid by check in the mail. Somehow the trip wasn't booked due to change of staff but when I texted a few days before to check on the exact location, they quickly found my check and email/text records and endured I was good to go. We went in fall of 2021, and we're one of the last tours. I believe it was his son or grandson who helped lead our tour and he did a great job. It was really neat and kind of trippy in those caves. You could surely get lost. And where the water was high and we had to lay flat which was so thrilling. I'd definitely go again. I believe it was $50 a person. It wasn't anything too expensive. After the tour, we visited the little city of Festus and had Mead, then ate at Crabby Daddy's and it was awesome. We were visiting from St. Louis and it was a great day trip from there."

"We had a wonderful time exploring the Mine. All staff were very polite and welcoming. We truly felt like from the moment we came we were part of a family. We felt very safe the entire trip! I'd suggest bringing some water proof gloves, and a camera that's easy to take pictures with, with gloves on! We didn't get many pictures sadly since we left our phones in the car, but we promise you it was definitely a sight to be seen! Bring a group for way more fun! It would make an excellent group outing!"

"Took the 2.5 hour trip north. It was well worth the drive. Have to book a reservation with Don to get a spot. This is a guided tour that takes about 2.5 hours. They provide everything you will need to take the journey that is like no other. Great family experience."
