Reviews
"Park ranger sits in his car parked in an empty lot doing nothing while dogs run unleashed in the crowded adjacent lot. I'm allergic and got slobbered on despite communicating to the owner that I am allergic and cannot come in contact with the animal."
"A multi use trail. Open grasslands, picnic area, wooded portion. This park is along the Meremac River, boat landing available. No trash cans along the way, no dog waste or bag stations."
"Enjoyable greenway bike ride, though this beginning section is the least scenic. The Valley Park side is a bit nicer and has a single track mountain bike trail parallel to the Greenway for a small section. Overall, the greenway is nice and wide and has plenty of shade."
"Beautiful Greenway with river views along the way and a number of nice benches. Great path for biking, running, roller blading, etc. Most of the blacktop surface is pretty smooth and would be fine for scooters and roller blades but there are a few patches that get rough where the older blacktop is worn. The trail maps talk about plans to expand the trail network inter-state. In the spring there's probably a good chance of a flood on parts of the path as it runs through what appears to be a flood plain, but fall water levels were a long way from that."
"Good place to fish or launch a boat, there is a small gazebo there with a place to sit and there is another small gazebo with a grill. Neither have both and unfortunately they're about 60 yards apart from each other. Looks like there's a little bit of flood damage in the area also."
