"Wonderful place for a family picnic"
"Ok, is someone putting me on ? I see some people think this is a park....haha. It's next to the park you knuckleheads. Which brings the question. Why would you plant a garden next to a park where little kids play ? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen if you ask me. Maybe it would be wiser to plant a garden in your yard so it , hopefully, doesn't get trampled."
"This park has a great pavillion with a large playground just off the bike trail that runs from winnebago to pecatonica. There is a rustic looking bridge nearby. The pavillion has electricity and the bathrooms are very nice with running water and lights."
"Really nice park. Very clean restrooms. Pavilion was a haven for birds, their chicks, and the "out put", but that's nature! Definitely a good solid choice for family fun and picnic planning! Blassingham Park on Jackson had a electricity supplied pavilion, new park, baseball field, and new restrooms. A walking path (prairie path) runs right beside it. If you don't care for spiders, be weary of the pavilion. Constant spiders all day long. Propelling down from rafters, on tables, on trash bins and beams. Many different species, some very aggressive. Didn't bother us because we didn't bother them :) NOT a deal breaker for a huge pavilion at a very low cost. Just be cautious as we did see a few Black Widows. Children are clueless to the effects of their powerful venom, and it can ravish their little tissue."
