Community Park

Located in Mundelein, Illinois, the Keith Mione Community Park and Sports Complex is the hub of activities for the Mundelein Park District. Spanning 153 acres, this park offers a variety of amenities and activities for people of all ages to enjoy. Named after former Park District Commissioner Keith W. Mione, who had a passion for sports and community involvement, the park is home to the Mundelein Community Center and NovaCare Fitness Center.

The Mundelein Community Center houses the Park District staff offices, while NovaCare Fitness Center is a community-focused health club with a full-court gym, indoor pool/track, and more. On the east side of the park, you will find Dunbar Recreation Center, which features a gymnasium, teaching kitchen, dance studio, and classrooms available for rent.

Throughout the year, the park hosts various events such as the Freedom Classic 5K in the summer and BOO BASH in the fall. With its central location and wide range of facilities, Keith Mione Community Park is a popular destination for recreation and community gatherings in Mundelein.
