"Various family pets had gone to Amber Leaf for years. Doctors are great but overall animal management seemed to be lacking. I feel my pet was treated with indifference and frustration. The last time she was there she was kept for three days but left untreated. The team even made jokes about how difficult they felt she was. I had to make the suggestions on how to work with her. At least they were receptive and executed my recommendations. I finally took her back and brought her somewhere else. Her issue was able to be addressed almost immediately and with great compassion. No complaints from the staff, just positivity and a gentle touch. The contrast in experience was quite shocking. I feel that Amber Leaf gained a magnificent reputation and as they gained popularity, the crowded schedule has taken its toll. Had I not been going there over the course of at least 20 years I’d have rated it lower. Hopefully things can improve in the future."
