"The program may have great potential but I am quite disgusted with the owner. You will start off with some sort of evaluation where they will show you the learning gaps of your child. They then will come up with how many hours of tutoring they think it will take to get your child to where they need to be. For us, it totaled about $11,000. During this meeting, it was expected for us to make a decision about this right away. I was there with my son's dad but needed to speak with my husband before making such a large financial commitment. Her response was "unfortunately I need an answer right now" I then said "then my answer is no"... She then allowed us some time. She talked about a payment plan option which was my preference. When I went in to set this up, It was a line of credit... which was NEVER discussed with me. I again said I will not do that and she agreed to charge my card monthly. My son then started highschool and was doing well. He was proactive and was working directly with his teachers so we decided to stop using this program. I emailed Bonnie about this and she tried to ignore my request. I stayed firm in my response. She then tried calling my X-husband to talk him into staying. I thought this was so manipulative. We coparent well and are always on the same page when it comes to our children. He was a part of making this decision. It felt like she was trying to use the fact that we are divorced to her advantage. He reiterated the same thing I did. She also tried to charge my card again after we stopped doing the program. Fortunately, I put it on a credit card and just cancelled it due to the bad vibes I had from the beginning. My son did like the teachers there. Maybe the program is great. The lack of transparency in the program is deplorable. Make sure you completely understand what you are getting yourself into before signing up."

"We had an amazing experience here! The instructor was amazing and cared for the progress of my students and prepared them well in the subject. The staff was so kind, flexible, and professional. We are really sad that the school year is almost over."

"Huntington is a terrific place for preparing students to be successful not only in their daily educational experiences, but, also preparing students for college. For example, Huntington is known for their outstanding ACT/SAT prep courses. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone interested in furthering their child’s education."

"Not a very good experience at all. I feel like they downplayed my daughter’s test results to sell her “need” for 8 hours a week tutoring. I opted for 6 hours a week instead (which cost about $5,000). The main contact and my child’s teacher at this center were immature. The tutor had a hard time getting along with my shy daughter; threatening her on several occasions and not respecting her privacy. When I called to cancel services I was met with attitude and scrutiny. They did help my daughter get some homework done but then also had her doing printed sheetwork many grades below her level. I would not recommended, but that’s just my opinion."
