"Worst experience with this contractor in 2 occasions: They were sent by the home warranty to fix an air leak in my pool. They came several times and never repaired the leak. I the second opportunity, The pump was making a very loud noise. They sent the diagnostic to the home warranty recommending to change the motor, but included that the pump was working "normally". How that noise can be normal??, and if it is normal, why did they recommend to change the motor? of course the home warranty denied the claim. When I called the contractor, Steve was very rude to me and said that pumps make all types of noises, and send me back to talk to the home warranty. That is not ethical! if you know that the pump has a serious problem, just say it and clarify it with the home warranty."

"My home warranty company used expert pools to diagnose my pool filter, which was leaking. Tech arrived an hour after scheduled window time, he took photos of the filter, some photos were irrelevant I asked in his opinion was this caused by normal wear and tear, he replied “ yes” but my warranty company would have to review the tiers of my policy. When I received the denial from my home warranty company, it stated that the tech advised this was NOT due to normal wear and tear, he didn’t have to lie to me. I don’t recommend this company if you are using for an opinion for home warranty. Now I have to await a second opinion. After reading other reviews, this company may be working with AHS and techs are falsely reporting to keep AHS from paying on claims. Shame on Expert Pools and AHS, which I’m going to cancel. WARNING: REQUEST ANOTHER COMPANY IF AHS SENDS THIS COMPANY OUT TO DIAGNOSE. Wish I had read the reviews prior. Also the owners response to some of these complaints are very unprofessional within itself."
