"My dog had a softball sized mass appear on him back in September. We brought him in to see the vets at this clinic and were told to wait and see if it went away. After a month it had not gone away, if anything it had gotten larger. At that time we saw a different vet at this clinic, who seemed very timid regarding the whole situation with no plan of action to figure out what was going on. Upon advice from a family friend we gave a third doctor, Dr. Dave Hart, a chance to look at our pup. He was the most disrespectful, and dismissive doctor I have ever had the displeasure of working with. He condescendingly told me that my dogs mass was benign and my concerns were not legitimate. We then took our dog to a more competent clinic that immediately referred to the specialists to have imaging and hopefully surgery to cure him. He was diagnosed with a sarcoma. The surgery was unsuccessful at removing the tumor and now we are praying radiation can save him. If we had we been referred when the mass appeared his outcome may have been completely different. Now that we have been telling family and friends about our experience we are finding it is all too common with this clinic. I would not trust them to trim my dogs nails. Please don't learn the hard way like me. If your dog is going through something, get them to a clinic that puts compassion first."

The staff are patient and understanding in the exam rooms. Emails are responded to. So glad a friend recommended Kirkwood Animal Hospital and Dr. Hormuth when we moved here."
