"They weren't able to fix my phone a galaxy 23ultra but it was due to the manufacturer being out of stock for screens so they were very quick to tell me so I could file for a replacement"

"The franchise owner, Roy, was extremely helpful when I broke the screen on my Google Pixel 6 Pro! Not only was the screen broken, but one of the main memory chips was scorched, and needed replaced as well. Initially, I was given a quote for the parts and labor to replace the screen, but obviously didn't know anything about the chip until the screen was off. Well, when I went in to check it out, Roy not only loaned me a phone to use while they waited on the parts, but he also told me that they were going to stick with the originally quoted price and not charge me for the additional parts and labor! Now, I'm a returning customer here because of something similar he did for my brother years ago before he owned the place, and will absolutely be a return customer here if I rver have issues again because of the way they do business here. I will be recommending CPR Glen Carbon to anyone I know having phone troubles. Thanks Roy!"

"Just wanted to keep others from this shady business, CPR Cell Phone Repair Glen Carbon. My husband had the back of his phone “fixed” for $200. Four days later it broke again. It wasn’t dropped and had been in a case. When he went back they said “it was fine when you left” and would charge another $100 to fix it again. Thanks for taking money from hard working families at the holidays."

"Front desk worker was very kind and seemed willing to help, but when owner came out to tell me they would not fix the phone (which has had issues since they replaced the screen), he was incredibly rude. I acknowledged that it has been awhile since the appointment, but there was not a time limit on the warranty. He said it was voided because the phone has been dropped. Who doesn’t drop their phone? The screen is not cracked. They wouldn’t have even known that if I had not told them. It’s actually irrelevant to the issue I was asking them to fix. I repeat: I was not asking them to fix anything from it being dropped. The issue is that the screen isn’t on correctly and doesn’t recognize my touch sometimes, which of course is frustrating. It has been an issue ever since they replaced it. I didn’t expect them to fix it for free, but was frustrated that it was still full price. It was as if they couldn’t stand to be told that their prior work wasn’t perfect. I don’t doubt that most of their screen repairs are done well - but the issue is that if they aren’t, they cannot accept this as a possibility and will belittle the customer and blame them for the issue. I found that to be the opposite of good business. I don’t think I’ve ever been spoken to that rudely in a retail setting, and I’m honestly still pretty shaken up by it. I notice that in other reviews when the owner is called out for being rude, he retorts back that the customer was the problem. I fully expect that, even if it is unfair. It’s too bad, I love supporting small business but this one will never get my support or recommendation again. They could have honored the warranty, they could have compromised and given me a discount … instead, the owner chose to repeat that I should have called earlier, and when I said I would have loved to, but I was traveling and have been extremely busy. He replies, “Really, you don’t have time to make a simple phone call?” So rude. I came into the store, because honestly i thought if I called and told them what was going on, they’d say “bring it in, we need to look at it.” And yes, this was the first time I’d had time during their hours to do that. Not all customers live in town and have free time during the day. Should that mean we don’t get good service?"
